Year 6

We are so excited to have you all in Year 6 this year!  Children have quickly settled quickly back into routines and have adapted well to changing classes multiple times in the day, and having multiple teachers. We have lots of fun leaning to complete in Y6, with visits and theme days to hook us into our learning.

Homework reminder: Spellings will be sent home weekly. These are really important to help your child with their reading and writing so please help your child practice them at home. Your child will also get half termly homework relating to maths and to our topic to extend their learning. Children also have the opportunity to take home reading books to share with you at home. They can bring them back and swap them as often as they like, so please encourage them to do so.

We are also encouraging children to wear their school uniform every day.
