Year 1 had a great time at Crabtree Ponds last week! We enjoyed learning the names of some of the plants and animals that live in our local area, as well as seeing what we could find living in the pond! Here are some pictures of our day!

This week, some of the Y6's have been to Concord Sport Centre to take part in the Arches Partnership Games.  Some of the sports included cycling, hockey, cricket, golf, gymnastics and swimming!! The children had a great day in the sunshine!

Hello everyone! I promised I would update you with a chick update as soon as we got our first eggs! Well, this weekend, Big Brown laid her first egg! Then either Henrietta, or Barbara have too! We are very proud of the progress made by our children in reading this term - well done Year 3! 

For this game, you will need dice and some coloured pencils. Multiply the numbers on the dice and find the square with your answer in it. Draw one of the sides of that square - first to complete the square, colours it in and the winner is the person with the most coloured squares at the end! As part of Y6's learning about Evolution and Adaptation, we completed a science experiment called 'Battle of the Beaks!'. We chose different beaks, and tested which would be the most successful at consuming different 'foods'.
